Memory care is a special kind of program provided by Nest & Care to seniors with a varying degree of Alzheimer’s or dementia. It is also specialized for seniors who may not have these conditions but are beginning to show signs of forgetfulness however minor.
When an elderly person has Alzheimer’s or dementia, he or she may require specialized care in an environment that is safe and secure. In most cases, a regular caregiver may not have the proper skills to provide specialized care or create an Alzheimer’s or dementia-friendly environment.
It is because of these reasons and more that we, at Nest & Care, have created the memory home care program. Through this program, we are able to provide specialized memory home care to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a suitable environment and with skilled caregivers who are available 24 hours or on an as-needed basis.
The goal of our memory home care program is to slow down the progression of Alzheimer’s or dementia while providing the patients with a sense of purpose and satisfaction with life.
